Outstanding service and advice provided by Mohammed
1. Did not provide adequate communication with family members 2. Claimed that communication with family members is not covered under legal aid when complaint was made 3. Did not inform me of the result of my husbands sentencing, had to find out through the news 4. Did not have good communication between the solicitor and barrister; they each had different advice 5. Lied many times about what is and is not covered under legal (thus preventing us from seeking legal help from other firms) 6. Under them, my husband recieved the longest sentence possible. 7. They (solicitor, not barrister) suggested that my husband should risk a not guilty plea even though she said it was not likely, thus risking more time in prison "for the principle" 8. Frustrating to work with; they try to speed up phone conversations and give very few answers 9. Sometimes take weeks for clients to get a hold of 10. Failed to provide a Pre sentencing report 11. Lied about being sick to avoid taking client's calls. 12. Did not provide updates on clients health to family when asked 13. Will frequently forget case details 14. When complaint was made about a lack of communication and evasiveness and the implication that they do not get paid enough to communicate with an authorized party, they threatened to cut contact. 15. Will never go above and beyond Pros 1. Easy to talk to during intake, until you actually sign a legal aid contract 2. Understanding about mental health, will not try to pressure a client with mental health concerns. However it should not come at the cost of communicating all necessary information regarding a given case.
