Simply, we are Victoria Oerton and Graham Simm, and are husband and wife. Victoria qualified in 2008 and Graham in 1988, so together we have over 50 years experience in Family Law. We worked together in Exeter for 5 years before deciding to set up in private practice here in Taunton in 2013. We work as a team so that we combine our collective experience and knowledge in order to find the best solution for you. We know that Family Law can appear daunting, it’s language foreign, it’s approaches confusing and ever changing, but there is more than one approach to all problems, and we are alive to the fact that what may suit one individual may be wholly unsuitable for another.

I was introduced to Victoria at Oerton Simms through a friend after experiencing an unbelievably poor service from my previous lawyer during my divorce. From the very first call, I felt supported and reassured, like I actually had a chance of coming through everything in a good position. It was refreshing to work with a lawyer who not only understood the seriousness of the situation but also matched my sense of humour and communication style. Victoria was outstanding throughout, and her responsiveness was excellent. Laura, her legal secretary, was equally fantastic, always keeping things moving and stepping in whenever needed, which gave me real confidence that everything was being handled properly. I genuinely feel they went above and beyond for me. Solicitor fees are never cheap, but throughout the process I felt everything was fair and transparent, which is all you can ask for. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Victoria and the team, and I’ve already started doing so.
