I rarely leave negative reviews, but given our experience with Gent Law, I feel it is entirely justified to warn others. ​Communication was consistently poor throughout our time with them—in fact, we received more communication and reassurance from our new solicitors in just one week than we did in the several months we spent with Gent Law. ​To make matters worse, when we were already well advanced in our conveyancing process, they suddenly and unexpectedly ceased working on our case. When we asked for an explanation as to why they were dropping us mid-transaction, we were bluntly told they were under "no legal obligation" to inform us. ​Leaving clients stranded deep into a house move with zero accountability or transparency is completely unprofessional and immensely stressful. ​Fortunately, we transferred our case to a new solicitor who picked up the pieces seamlessly, handled everything without a single issue, and got us successfully into our new home. Save yourself the stress—use a firm that actually values client care and basic communication

29 September 25, completed on a new build purchase, 1st class service, I was unaware of govt legislation on due diligence which caused issues on my side, but once I knew it was not their fault, I found the experience easy. I followed this up with the sale of my old home, which completed 29 June 26, Tania, Fiona and Hayley did a sterling job, first class service for standard industry charges. Well actually I think the prices were very low!..

We used Gent Law when we purchased our first home. The process was clear, as quick as possible and professional. Rachael, Clare and Emily were excellent communicators and kept us upto date at all times and were incredibly transparent with the case and it's complexities. We purchased a new build and couldn't have asked for a better solicitor to help us get on the property ladder as first time buyers. We will happily return when we are ready to remortgage/move.

Maybe they are good conveyancers, but they are bad time managers and communicators. We always was needed to clarify what is going on, what are the next steps and when we should expect them to be done. There were many moments when simply things wasn't moving. We constantly had impression that they are busy with other clients and don't have time for our case.
