If this review saves just one person from using this company, my time has been well spent! My case has dragged on almost SEVEN years! Numerous case handlers, each one starting again from the beginning. With the exception of one, Richard Griffith, all others care nothing about whether you win or lose your claim. Sadly for me, DLG were totally outclassed by the defendant’s solicitors who went all out to discredit me and make me out to be fundamentally dishonest. Covert filming of me and accusing me of faking my injuries- although I was in perfect health prior to my traffic accident in which the third party admitted liability. I have had an operation that sadly didn’t improve my injury. Incidentally, covert surveillance showed nothing detrimental to my claim as I can’t do the things I have claimed I cannot. Over the claim period DLG legal racked up a bill of £87k, for doing pretty much nothing to help me defend myself. Often rather than drafting a response to the defendants solicitors, they would copy and paste my emails! If my last claim handler, Lucy Flynn spent as much effort defending my case as she did defending herself when challenged, I might be in a better financial position! I had to accept a pathetic offer in the end, just to save my sanity. I have life changing injuries and I have been totally ripped off by the so called legal profession. I would like to congratulate the defendants solicitors in making me, a totally honest and genuine claimant look like and feel like a criminal. If you have a simple 3k whiplash claim, DLG are the ones for you. If they have anything slightly more complicated, do yourself a favour and pick a professional outfit…. Failing that, pick anyone, even a garden newt. I will be seeking legal advice from the ombudsman.
