Tinklin Springall Solicitors has been providing legal services from our Bromley office since 1983, originally by moving a department of a very long established central London firm to Bromley, as the partners lived locally. The office grew, and after a second office was opened in Beckenham, they became self-contained. The two founding partners and staff left the London partnership but retained the local offices. We are therefore not your typical high street practice, we continue to run as a London firm, based locally and still retain many of the London clients. Our work areas include all aspects of conveyancing of residential and commercial property, litigation, including dispute resolution, employment, family and matrimonial law, wills, trusts and probate. Overall I had a very good experience with the work that Sophie completed on my behalf. She is quite meticulous and thorough. This was a stressful and challenging conveyance which included the sale of my shared ownership property which included staircasing at the point of sale. I was also purchasing a property that was ready to move into a lot sooner than my sale. She was able to reassure and communicate with both sets of estate agents which helped emencely. Her email replies were comprehensive, timely and reassuring. I would recommend her because of her thorough approach with the added knowledge about shared ownership sales being staircased at the point of sale.

Brooke, Ian and the team at Tinklin Springall handled what should have been a simple sale but became more long winded and complicated due to our buyer's issues after using the "modern method of auction". They coped with handling everything in a timely and helpful professional manner. Our subsequent purchase was much simpler and likewise handled on time. They always responded very quickly to any queries and we were always confident in their handling of the proceedings which reduced the stresses involved on our side. Great value and excellent service.

I have recently completed the sale of a residential property conducted by Tinklin Springall Solicitors at their Beckenham Branch, the conveyancer being Brooke Tafazolli. I found her highly professional and very prompt in all our communications throughout the whole process. I can honestly say that I was never wondering ‘what is happening now’, I was regularly updated and informed of the various issues that occurred during the process which went smoothly to its conclusion.

Ian (Springall) has dealt with three conveyances for me so far and he has been wonderful throughout. Two have been particularly stressful and I can't recommend his patience and thoroughness enough. I would recommend him to anyone.

As a client, my spouse has encountered significant challenges in communicating with her solicitor. These challenges include unanswered emails, abrupt hang-ups by the receptionist, inconsistent workdays by the solicitor without notice, and an absence of cover on days when the solicitor is unavailable. Despite leaving multiple messages with the receptionist, there has been no follow-up from the solicitor.
Furthermore, based on my observations, the solicitor does not exhibit a proactive approach to their work. Basic tasks such as sending emails and pursuing responses have taken several weeks to complete.
The overall level of service provided by this ostensibly high-end and experienced firm is subpar, in my estimation.

Sophie Steppel handled our sale and purchase and was absolutely brilliant - thoroughly professional, an excellent communicator and showed meticulous attention to details. Our purchase proved unexpectedly difficult due to the behaviour of other parties further up the chain, but she gracefully and decisively handled every challenge that arose and was a great advocate for us - we felt very lucky to have her on our side. We recommend her wholeheartedly and would be more than happy to work with her again.

We used Andrew de Ferrars for our first house purchase. He was very thorough and professional. I contacted TS after using them in 2014 for a previous house move. Paul Miller was fantastic then, but as he was no longer with TS I was allocated Naomi Clarke and what an utter joy Naomi has been. My case wasn't particularly straightforward but Naomi took it all in her stride, was responsive and knowledgeable but most of all I felt like I was dealing with someone who really cared! I don't write reviews but the service and attention to detail that Naomi provided was absolutely amazing and I hope TS know what a superstar they have within the company. I have just exchanged on a sale and purchase and can honestly say it was money well spent. Thank you Naomi you have made myself and my daughter so very happy.
