This work covers representing clients in Crown Court proceedings for serious offences, including trial advocacy, bail hearings, sentencing hearings, and related applications. A solicitor handles instructions from the client, reviews police and CPS files, negotiates with the prosecution, prepares and leads evidence, cross-examines witnesses, and handles post-charge matters such as appeals or sentence reviews. It also involves engaging with juries, expert witnesses, and court staff to secure the best possible outcome in a high-stakes environment.

Jen Law

Tagged solicitor Jen Law

I was represented by Jen at the start of this year. Before having representation, I spent two years being strung along through a drawn-out legal case by the CPS, with multiple adjournments. Jen took over my case and was extremely professional and thorough. She picked everything apart with a fine-tooth comb, stood up and made herself count when I needed it, and had everything settled within 90 days, achieving an outcome ten times better than I could ever have asked or hoped for.

Gareth Needs and his team were very helpful and clear in all the advise given. They were as much concerned about my personal welfare as much as the criminal case I was accused of. Hopefully I wont need his help again but would recommend him to anyone else who found themselves in the same situation I was in.
