When K walked out, after a huge hug from me, two members of the jury came up to him, congratulated him, wished him well for the future and made a point of saying that they were all immediately and unanimously in agreement on the Not Guilty verdict. I asked if they were mothers and both were mothers of five! Nevertheless, we feel that there should be a further case against the police for the maltreatment, unnecessary harassment and humiliation, assault, loss of earnings and opportunities caused by this case.
