A close friend recommended I contact Blacks Solicitors to discuss a work related problem which resulted in me having time off with a stress related condition. I contacted the firm via email and received an immediate response by Chris Allen who arranged a next day telephone consultation to allow me the opportunity to outline my grievance. I was given time to explain the situation and discuss the facts which had led me to seek expert legal advice. Mr Allen was extremely professional and courteous and was extremely adept at getting an accurate account of the situation from my distressed ramblings. He gave me a very balanced view point in regard to the whole sorry tale and neither trivialiased or added fuel to the fire with inflamed comments. He came accross to me as a very fair and just man and fortunately he agreed to act on my behalf in settling the disagreement. I felt like a great weight had lifted from my shoulders and I had full confidence in Mr Allen's ability to settle the grievance with the minimum disruption to either party. He kept in contact with me constantly whilst taking measures to conclude the dispute, either by email or telephone. I felt extremely satisfied with the outcome and was impressed by how he mediated between myself and my employer to ensure a mutually satisfactory outcome. I would highly recommend Chris Allen to anyone else requiring a solicitor now, or in the fututre and should I ever find myself in this dark place again he would be my first port of call.
