The divorce process between my wife and myself started out on relatively amicable terms and we agreed and documented all matters that needed to be resolved between us. The involvement of her new partner and the subsequent appointment of a solicitor significantly changed the dynamic and everything that had been agreed was suddenly revoked. After two years of wrangling I engaged Stowe Family Law out of desperation and the world suddenly got a lot clearer. I got a far better understanding of my position, rights and how various matters could be progressed and resolved. The minute Stowe got involved, the other solicitors quietened down. All outstanding matters were resolved and the divorce completed within 6 months.

Going through a divorce is never easy, but having the right support made a world of difference. From the start, my solicitor, Alexandra, was clear, calm, and responsive. Her initial advice, was probably not in her best interests as she suggested that submit the forms to start the divorce and I try and find a mutual acquaintance to help agree a settlement without resulting in mediation. During the divorce process when it became clear that mediation was not progressing or going to have the desired outcome Alexandra swiftly outlined the best course of action. It was very clear that she was experienced and used her experience to help navigate the next stage of the process. At all times, Alexandra explained every step in plain English, kept me informed, and handled the more stressful parts with real care and professionalism. I always felt I was in safe hands, and I’m grateful for how smoothly everything was managed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her services.

I got intouch with Richard Nelson's after needing help with a contract regarding mutually agreed redundancy, but due to the contract not containing the correct information by the time I got the correct version I only had two days left before it had to be signed and returned. I rang and was assured that someone would be able to help me, I was give an appointment for the next day and met Jayne Harrison, she was brilliant! She read through the contents with me pointing out several mistakes, she got straight in touch with my employer and got them amended . I have one last part to complete in January. I am so glad that I chose Richard Nelson's as after much stress they dealt with my situation extremely quickly and efficiently. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing any legal advice.

I'm sitting in our new house this evening having completed today. I truly do not believe we would have completed today or before xmas had it not been for Dan and his hard work and persistence to get it over the line. It has been very testing with other solicitors in the chain holding things up and simply not responding, but Dan always chased multiple times and picked up on any errors they made. Dan was super friendly, curteous, explained things really well and always very quick to respond to emails and queries. I would use PSR again in a heartbeat and would personally ask for Dan. I have had very bad experiences in the past with solicitors but Dan has single handedly changed that perception. I will be reccommending PSR Solicitors Chester to all my friends and family as Dan has made this process so easy and quick. I will be leaving a glowing google review also!
