I have never used employment law services before and Natasha was great right from the offset. She helped me to understand the boundaries of employment law (as opposed to personal injury law) as applied to my case. Natasha also helped me get to grips with how legal advice and options are offered, and then ultimately needs to be communicated as client instructions. My previous employer were chaotic and disorganised, and Natasha's patience and tenacity whilst also being very firm and clear with them was outstanding. They also negotiated ruthlessly with drawn out back and forth emails, however with Natasha's calm and professional backing and support including even chasing them right up until Christmas, we stayed strong and ended up with the outcome we were aiming for. This included judging the decision point as to when (and at what amount) to settle vs continue to Employment Tribunal. Natasha's advice and coaching on this was excellent and helped to separate the emotion from the practicalities. After several weeks of discussions, I received a fair and reasonable settlement agreement which in turn gives me time to rest and recover from the poor treatment, failure of process and health-impacting stress before I begin a new chapter of my career. The only other feedback I have is that whilst it makes sense that the case is closed once the settlement agreement is signed, I did still feel a bit anxious during the contractual period before the final payments are made and there were other commitments that my employer did not provide in the agreed timescales which caused me some distress and I missed having more handholding support during this final "post agreement" phase. Legal support of this nature is expensive by the hour, however in my case the costs (around 20% of which were recoverable from the previous employer) ultimately resulted in a settlement with a value of several times the cost.
