Property Sale

I retained Clifton Ingram LLP to handle the sale of a former rented flat in Southampton and the transaction was dealt with by Lesley Quinn. The flat had a long history and the sale was potentially impacted by the recent building safety legislation. Lesley handled the sale with skill, professionalism, speed and effectiveness and was a delight to deal with. Overall, an excellent service.

Superb service with the personal touch

Jo was my conveyancing executive for the sale of my mother's house 250 miles distant, which involved three consecutive buyers and their three different firms of solicitors and my status changing from Attorney to Executor.
It was clear from the dealings I observed with these solicitors and had with my mother's solicitors that Jo's professional and proactive approach, based on legal requirements rather than an individual firm's whims, was by no means universal in the legal world.
In addition I appreciated that Jo was always ready to guide me through matters I did not understand and was so very accessible: face to face, on the phone, by proxy with a colleague when she was away and responding to emails generally within minutes. It meant I felt fully supported throughout and in the protracted dealings with multiple agencies over my mother's house it was a relief to know that my conveyancing at least was in the best of hands and being professionally and excellently managed.
Last, but not least, I appreciated Jo's friendliness and warmth. Over that fifteen months I never felt this was just another conveyancing case but that there was a personal touch, which I valued.

I had the pleasure of working with Jennifer Thomas at Clifton Ingram in Wokingham. Jennifer was extremely professional and very knowledgeable in relation to helping me buy my new property.
