This area covers how recruitment and interview steps are conducted and challenged under employment law in England and Wales. A solicitor helps you understand your rights if an interview process seems discriminatory or unfair, or if inadequate procedures affect your job prospects. They advise on drafting complaints, respond to interviews’ requirements, and represent you when challenges arise under the Equality Act 2010 and related guidance. The work can shape outcomes in offers, terms, or eligibility tied to employment.

Naomi Ireson

Tagged solicitor Naomi Ireson

Quick communication, measured advice and I felt confident in adhering to Naomis suggestions. Naomi was confident of a successful outcome from the outset and this was reassuring and ultimately she was successful in my case. I would recommend Naomi personally and due to my positive experience I will also be using Slee and Blackwell for other services.

Anna Jane Louisa Neil

Tagged solicitor Anna Jane Louisa Neil

I was advised Maitland Walker by my employer. It was a bit of a niche situation that I needed advice on, and although the situation changed, Anna straight away had a number of solutions. She also helped to drive the process from both sides of the situation, whilst always having a clear understanding and care of the situation. In the nicest way I hope I never have to use them again, but I 100% would use them if needed.
