A solicitor in this area advises on capability and conduct procedures, drafts and reviews performance improvement plans, and helps structure absence management strategies including sickness absence monitoring, return-to-work processes, and reasonable adjustments for ill health. They also advise on disciplinary steps, potential redundancy, and appeal rights, ensuring actions align with employment law, contracts, and any applicable policy.
