TUPE covers what happens to employees when a business or part of a business transfers to a new owner. In practice, a solicitor helps clients prepare and review the transfer and consult with affected staff, collect and preserve employee data, and handle terms relating to a transfer under the TUPE Regulations and the Trade Union and Labour Relations Act. They may also challenge or defend the transfer where statutory protections apply, and guide post-transfer obligations.

Naomi Ireson

Tagged solicitor Naomi Ireson

Quick communication, measured advice and I felt confident in adhering to Naomis suggestions. Naomi was confident of a successful outcome from the outset and this was reassuring and ultimately she was successful in my case. I would recommend Naomi personally and due to my positive experience I will also be using Slee and Blackwell for other services.

Anna Jane Louisa Neil

Tagged solicitor Anna Jane Louisa Neil

I was advised Maitland Walker by my employer. It was a bit of a niche situation that I needed advice on, and although the situation changed, Anna straight away had a number of solutions. She also helped to drive the process from both sides of the situation, whilst always having a clear understanding and care of the situation. In the nicest way I hope I never have to use them again, but I 100% would use them if needed.
