Dear Julie, I was made redundant in July and was advised by my company to speak with a solicitor about my redundancy settlement. Not only was I upset and worried about the situation, but also very scared and nervous about contacting a solicitor as this was all new to me. I contacted Kingsfords and spoke firstly to Jacqueline Chappell, who was very helpful and gave clear instructions on what I needed to send to her. Jacqueline immediately made me feel much better and told me that it would be Leigh Prebble-Benn who I would have my telephone appointment with. When I first read through my settlement agreement I didn't really understand what it all meant and so when Leigh took the time to read through it line by line to explain things in simpler terms, it wasn't so overwhelming. Leigh also gave clear instructions on what I needed to do next and everything was all done quickly. It was also very lovely to know that I could contact Leigh if I had any other concerns. I went to see Keith Betts on Thursday this week(yesterday) I was suffering severe anxiety due to an issue with my previous company, they had told me I was part owner but they froze me out and sacked me unlawfully. I was with Keith for exactly 14 minutes, in that space of time he told me what I was entitled to and reassured me this would be dealt with on that very day. This was all agreed by my ex company by 4pm yesterday and I received a payout this morning. I am absolutely thrilled, my anxiety has gone. I cannot recommend Keith highly enough - absolutely Gent!!!!!
