I’m not sure where to start. Words cannot describe the incredible service and hard work Andre put in to help me reunite with my father. I researched for days to find a solicitor who would be able to help me apply for ILR for my father. I did not have a clue where to start and just felt very overwhelmed with the whole process. I’m not a very confident person and I get really bad anxiety when speaking on the phone to strangers. I just didn’t understand. What will I need? Am I going to ask silly questions? Do I make sense? Within two minutes of my first phone call with Andre all of those worries vanished. Right from the start he takes a genuine interest in you, your situation and how we are going to go about it. He is very clear on how the process works and guided me through everything step by step. I instantly felt like we were a team. We hit complications down the road with me struggling to get certain documents but with each barrier Andre had a solution. With every question I had, he had the answer. Tuesday the 18th January. I had a missed call and voicemail from Andre. I was running late finishing work. Andre had finished work and instead of packing his things to go home after a long days work he stayed at the office until I got home around half an hour later. Andre called to tell me that my father had been granted ILR. We did it! I was finally going to hug my father after all these years. He was going to meet his first grandchild, we were going to be a family together again. There is just no words to describe how grateful I am for everything Andre has done for my family, all the support he gave me and how I never felt lost in the process. The first thing me and my father have said we will do when we reunite is have a traditional South African Braai!! Andre, you will certainly be thought of on that day. It’s because of you, your expertise and commitment we will be celebrating this day. From a fellow South African, thank you.
