From my initial inquiry to the conclusion resulting in my partner being successful in obtaining her UK family, Melissa Southall was professional, understanding, and compassionate in her approach to what was a complex and sensitive case; we had previously used a different Law Firm, who after taking our money abandoned our case and ignored our repeated attempts to telephone and request a response and updates via email; basically, we were scammed, this resulted in my partner having a mental breakdown, fearing that she would not be able to join me and our daughter in the UK, she became suspicious of everyone and everything to do with UK immigration Law Firms. However, I had to convince her that even though a previous firm scammed us, we still had to move on and try again. After considerable research, we chose Sydney Mitchell Solicitors and were not disappointed. As mentioned in my initial comments, Melissa Southall was assigned to our case, and she was outstanding in my initial contact, during which I explained the sensitive nature of my partner's situation, which was brought on by a nervous breakdown in reaction to being scammed. Melissa was sympathetic in her understanding, and her approach during interaction with my partner calmed her down and won her trust, in that finally, she was on the right path with the right person to represent her, ultimately resulting in tears of joy on being informed she was successful in being granted her UK Family Visa and able to rejoin me and our daughter.
Melissa, thank you so much for what you have done for our family, from the way you approached us with understanding and the sensitive nature you adopted when communicating with my partner and me during in-person meetings and through emails. You are a Star, and my partner, a devoted Buddhist, has included you in her daily prayers and will continue to do so. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and my family will never forget you as the wonderful solicitor who put our family on track to be reunited and live in the UK.
