Top 10 of 10 law firms for Land Registration, Land Law | Taunton, Somerset

Law firms ranked by client reviews

Land Registration covers the process of proving and recording ownership and interests in land and property in England. A solicitor in this area handles title checks, prepares and submits applications for first registration or transfers, and deals with registered titles, charges and restrictions at HM Land Registry. They review chain of title, search for adverse interests, and draft or check dispositions, transfers and leases to ensure the client’s rights are properly protected and registrable. These matters often shape future dealings, financing and development or resale of land and property.

We couldn’t be happier with the service Kirsty and her team (Nicky and Marcel) provided throughout the purchase of our first home. It was stressful at times but Kirsty made the whole process very easy and she was always very helpful. We would highly recommend!

Louise Langabeer

Tagged solicitor Louise Langabeer

We engaged Slee Blackwell to act for us in the sale of our house. We required an easement to be drawn up and a plan correction at the Land Registry before the usual legal formalities could take place. The conveyancing team were sympathetic to our anxious state, explained the process clearly and kept us informed at every stage. They patiently dealt with the forensic enquiries of (in my opinion) a very trying buyer and kept smiling through a tense and anxious engagement with The Land Registry.
