Kathryn is a compassionate, dedicated and professional solicitor. She is evidently passionate about seeking justice, where it is due, for vulnerable adults such as myself. At the time of the charge made against me, I had experienced a first mental health crisis. Kathryn diligently gathered all evidence from mental health professionals, of my longstanding professional background and clear records, and of my pending new exployment, and also insisted on a Probation Report prior to sentencing. Kathryn astutely set out her case of how I was behaving outside of my usual character and my behaviour of sending love-related messages and gift was a symptom of me being unwell at the time (and remorseful on becoming well, again). Kathryn therefore argued for an outcome of 'conditional discharge', which was granted by the courts. It's worth noting that this was outside of sentencing guidelines. Her passion to demonstrate my usual character, judgement and background - and acute mental health crisis at the time of my unwanted messages and gift - is what helped us to achieve what felt like genuine justice. Kathryn was promot in her direct communication with me and always both friendly and respectful in her attitude towards me. I felt as though Kathryn walked right beside me in the most difficult time of my life - and fought for justice with true compassion - for which I'll be forever grateful.
