Maia was very helpful in simplifying and preparing what felt initially a fairly complex Will to sort. Maia was very focused and professional throughout our meeting, keeping the subject matter on point and was very efficient with our time spent with her.

A very frustrating experience with this company during the sale of my parents’ house following their deaths. Initially they were excellent at sending all the necessary paperwork through but after that it became very hit and miss. I made several phone calls to speak to my conveyancer but despite being told she would phone me back, it didn’t happen. When I did get through it was, until the final week, only her PA I ever spoke to. When my buyer excitedly informed me that completion would hopefully be in a few days’ time, I had to contact the conveyancer again because vital paperwork, that needed to be signed and witnessed, had not been sent to a second trustee for the sale. I was told I shouldn’t be discussing this with my buyer, I should be leaving it all to the solicitors, that I should have given the documents to the other trustee after I had signed them (I live 230 miles away and their letter and email had both instructed me to return everything to them), that the covering letter/email were just standard forms and didn’t apply in my case …. Well to say I was furious is an understatement. She was completely unable to accept any responsibility for the huge error and blamed me, the buyer, the buyer’s solicitor, her own PA and the company’s admin. Absolutely shocking. The other trustee then had to go to the office to sign everything but was told they didn’t need her id. I then had a call from my solicitor saying the trustee had forgotten to take her id so would need to email it. Again, a gross error on their part, blaming everyone else rather than their own incompetence. I wish I’d never heard of the company but they finally managed to complete the sale.

We have just obtained Grant of Probate and Tom Johnson dealt with our case. Tom was extremely approachable, professional and kept us updated every step of the way. I would recommend Tom to anyone. I would happily use Tom again. (Review submitted November 2021.)
