My family and I used Russell & Russell for the sale of our late mother’s property. Karen Woods and her team provided an excellent service. My cousin brought a claim against my uncle's estate (of which I am a beneficiary) under "The Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975", and the independent administrator of an estate advised me to seek legal advice from a specialist ACTAPS solicitor. The independent administrator provided me with a huge directory of ACTAPS solicitors, and I initially felt lost. By looking at reviews (online), I was very impressed by what clients said about RFB, and (in particular) the partner Devorah Ormonde. I really did not know what to expect at my initial meeting, but when I met Devorah, I knew I was dealing with someone who was highly professional. Devorah quickly put my mind at rest, as she had dealt with many other similar claims (on both sides). After using her managerial skills to bring all parties to the table for the 'standstill agreement', Devorah negotiated a favourable 'settlement agreement' with my cousin's lawyers, thus preventing the need for costly proceedings to be issued. Devorah always kept me up to date by email and provided me with a detailed billing guide at short notice. Devorah's services were worth every penny. I was very lucky to find such a great solicitor who was an expert in her field. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

I had multiple legal matters to deal with at the same time and after contacting Hewitt's about one of them Rebecca took on my case and I was so impressed with how she dealt with it right from the onset going well above and beyond what I was expecting, so much so that before it had even been concluded I had decided to bring my other outstanding legal matters to Hewitt's (despite having an appointment already booked elsewhere for one). Scott supported me when I urgently needed to make a new Will and update to my Power of Attorney . His caring and professional approach at a time of great stress for me was much appreciated. The new documents were drafted and signed within just a few days.
