Probate Instructions covers arranging and guiding the process of applying for a grant of probate after a death, and administering the estate in England. A solicitor in this area drafts or reviews the probate papers, helps identify the executor(s), collects and values assets, settles Inheritance Tax and other liabilities, contacts banks and beneficiaries, and registers the grant with the Probate Registry. They also provide practical steps for dealing with estate assets, debts and distribution in line with the deceased’s will or the rules of intestacy.

“Lauren dealt with all aspects of my father's estate recently and from start to finish i couldn't be happier! Probate wasn't quite as straight forward as it should have been but Lauren made it look easy! Having never dealt with legalities after the passing of a relative before I was somewhat naive and bemused by it all! Lauren really made everything as simple as possible throughout the whole process, her communication was always prompt, her explanations detailed but 'idiot' proof! Hopefully I won't require Lauren's services again for a while, but when I do i now know she'll make the whole process as easy as possible to deal with 😊”
