Probate Instructions covers arranging and guiding the process of applying for a grant of probate after a death, and administering the estate in England. A solicitor in this area drafts or reviews the probate papers, helps identify the executor(s), collects and values assets, settles Inheritance Tax and other liabilities, contacts banks and beneficiaries, and registers the grant with the Probate Registry. They also provide practical steps for dealing with estate assets, debts and distribution in line with the deceased’s will or the rules of intestacy.

“The service we received from Jay Gasson was exemplary. Jay was very professional and a pleasure to deal with, we felt comfortable at all times during the process, everything was explained fully and left us feeling confident that all our wishes were addressed. We both feel that Jay is a real asset to the company, a thoroughly decent, polite and true gentleman, would highly recommend. First class.”
