I instructed Lindsey Rawson to assist me with removing/adding trustees for our trusts. This was required as the result of a family bereavement. We have used her services several times before. Throughout the process Lindsey couldn’t have been more helpful. As I find the whole trust thing a bit confusing, she made sure I was happy at each stage and fully understood what I needed to. Also when I did mess up, she got back straight away to put me right. She acted with empathy, showed deep knowledge of the law and timely actions to ensure swift outcomes.

What should have been a simple Executorship of Mrs Crefin's final Will and Testament proved to be anything but the case. There were 2 (Two) Beneficiaries, one of whom was, in my opinion, an narcissist. That is, to my mind, an individual who combines self centred attention seeking traits with an insatiable desire for wealth and possessions at anybody's expense; in this particular case the other beneficiary, his Sister my Wife. I suffered mentally and physically as a consequence of this individual for a considerable period of time and the only way to end this sorry state of affairs was to employ Solicitors to arrive at a conclusion. As an aside and as an example of his behaviour and thought process - just what kind of individual employs an Estate Agent to provide a valuation of his Mothers House the morning following her cremation, when her ashes were barely cold? There are other examples of his behaviour which necessitated the use of Solicitors as you can imagine. Using Levi Solicitors, in particular Connor King, was like a breath of fresh air. His calmness indicated to me that what I and my Wife were experiencing what not that unusual in matters of this nature. His reassurances that this needed to be brought to an early conclusion, and it was, indicated that he had sufficient experience, from previous cases, to relate to our own distress. I would highly recommend Connor who was understanding, patient and lifted, what had become an intolerable burden, from my shoulders. Myself (and my Wife) are immensely grateful to Connor and would not hesitate to recommend his services. We would also like to extend our gratitude to the other Staff, Ellyse in particular, at the Moortown Office for all their help.

The costs were discussed before the process started and didn't change throughout. The process of making the will was explained from the start and was straightforward. It’s always a nervous experience for myself when it comes to law and solicitors! I find it all a little daunting however Katie was second to none at removing frustrations and personal emotions to the battle I am faced with! Her advise and guidance have put me in to a better mindset with the attempt I am forced to make in order to get the right and fair outcome with a dispute between my brother and myself regarding my late fathers estate! Whilst the methods I have to go through may or may not work 100% I have the knowledge with confidence to enrol Katie to assist me further in the future if the needs arises. I appreciate at times like these there is always family dynamics but from personal experience this level of dynamics is something else.
