A simple will in Wales follows the same basic purpose as in England: to record how a person’s assets should be shared after death and to name executors who will administer the estate. A Welsh solicitor drafts and revises the will, verifies capacity and clear instructions, and ensures proper signing and witnessing. They may help appoint guardians for any minor children and consider basic Welsh tax and debts to facilitate probate in Wales.
