We recently completed the probate of our parents estate with Poole Alcock Solicitors and we cannot recommend them highly enough. Although the whole process took two and a half years to settle due due to its complexity, the team was absolutely incredible throughout. They were very kind, supportive and consistently hard working and took 100% responsibility of the estate, which gave us peace of mind during the difficult time. Losing both of our parents was difficult enough without the stress of legal paperwork. Poole Alcock a massive thank you, you took full ownership of the process and worked tirelessly to get it finished. From my first call through to signing my Will, Johnson Astills have been helpful, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Been using Nelsons since January 2022. Outstanding service throughout, firstly following my dear Mums death Helen Salisbury worked exceptionally hard dealing with the whole estate which took over a year to complete. Amazingly efficient, helpful & friendly throughout! Secondly, Catherine Griffiths dealt with the Conveyancing throughout the sale process of Mums property & also just completed the purchase of a bungalow for myself. She has also been wonderful, so efficient & helpful & the knowledge both Helen & Catherine provided has been brilliant. Huge thanks to both. Perhaps not the cheapest of Solicitors but can't fault the service at all, you get what you pay for ! Would always recommend Nelsons !

Ian Cranefield of Richard Nelson LLP was an excellent, professional, solicitor. Ian advised, helped and supported me through a 7 year legal battle that commenced in the Court of Protection, progressing to a High Court Claim and Mediation with a positive result. He kept me calm in difficult and depressing situations, with his expertise, knowledge and empathy. During this legal claim Probate and Administration of a will progressed with the assistance initially of Martin Cruddas, then Kerry Wiig (formerly of Richard Nelson LLP) then Scott Walker of Richard Nelson LLP who finalised administration. Ian Cranefield oversaw the progress through each change. I also thank all those that assisted on your telephones and accounts. I would fully recommend Richard Nelson LLP.

The divorce process between my wife and myself started out on relatively amicable terms and we agreed and documented all matters that needed to be resolved between us. The involvement of her new partner and the subsequent appointment of a solicitor significantly changed the dynamic and everything that had been agreed was suddenly revoked. After two years of wrangling I engaged Stowe Family Law out of desperation and the world suddenly got a lot clearer. I got a far better understanding of my position, rights and how various matters could be progressed and resolved. The minute Stowe got involved, the other solicitors quietened down. All outstanding matters were resolved and the divorce completed within 6 months.
