Will revision covers updating an existing will or adding a codicil to reflect life changes, such as new beneficiaries or revised gifts. A solicitor revises the document, drafts a codicil or a replacement will, ensures proper execution with witnesses, and liaises with executors and banks to align the appointment of executors and any trusts with the updated terms. They help ensure the changes remain valid and clearly reflect the testator’s wishes in England and Wales.
