Enquired about a military claim for NIHL as I was in the armed forces 1984 to 1996. They accepted but then phoned me to say they cannot take on the claim as I joined the forces before 1987. This is wrong as my service continued on until 1996... so that is well after 1987. Not very knowledgeable on the parameters of what can be claimed. Other solicitor firms had no problem with the dates.
Would just like to thanks Sue@Hudgells solicitors for all her hard work in getting a really fair settlement for my Dads injuries after he was knocked off his bike. She was always available whenever i needed to get in touch and would spend a fair bit of time on the phone to my Dad. She's a credit to her profession and we would highly recommend her. I would highly recommend Hudgell Solicitors, particularly Rachel, Senior Litigation Executive, who handled my NHS medical negligence claim. The case was challenging, especially as the defendant did not accept causation in relation to my cancer diagnosis. However, Rachel never gave up and worked tirelessly to achieve a compensation settlement for me despite this difficulty. Her persistence, professionalism and determination made a real difference throughout the process. Her communication is exceptional. Doing something as daunting as filing a claim against the NHS was something I have never done and didn't understand. Rachel made this very easy for me. I was listen to and advise very well.
