Avoid!!
I recently concluded a family law matter with KW Law. While the financial aspects were ultimately resolved correctly and all funds from my house sale were transferred to me in full, the overall service experience was disappointing. There were administrative errors during my case, including being asked to sign a mandate that was later acknowledged to be unnecessary because the Minute of Agreement had not been reviewed closely enough. This caused avoidable stress at an already difficult time. Communication was also inconsistent. On several occasions I struggled to obtain clarity regarding fees and timelines, and I was left with the impression that a significantly larger balance was outstanding than was ultimately the case. Greater transparency earlier in the process would have avoided considerable anxiety. To their credit, the firm did provide a detailed breakdown when formally requested EVENTUALLY and covered the bank charges relating to the transfer of my funds. However, given the stress caused by the administrative issues and communication difficulties, I cannot say that my experience reflected the standard of service I expected.
