      Great for family matter, not so much for finances

      Penny Raby was heavily involved in the childrens proceedings, and as such, we had a good result. Unfortunately, when we moved to the financial proceedings where the majority of the work was undertaken by other team members, I found the service slipped and I had to chase multiple times for any responses or action to be taken. The result of the financial proceedings was less than satisfactory. Overall, I would not use them again.

      Divorce after 28 years of marriage

      From the very start of discussion's with Penny's team I was assured that this would be a fair settlement without greed and my sons would see this and that's what happened although this did take a while due to the unprofessional behaviour of the other solicitor involved.All I can say is that it's essential that you use a solicitor that considers the needs of the family and listen to your solicitor and their team I would recommend Penny Raby co to anyone who has to go through this sad experience Thank you

      Clear information

      I was initially very anxious about having to engage a solicitor for the financial settlement after divorce but having a meeting with Penny settled my nerves. I met her in a cosy environment not a panelled headmistress type office and discussed my situation. After that a couple of Zoom calls and some paperwork to be filled in she guided me through the process. Happily all resolved now and at a very reasonable price.

      Divorce and financial settlement

      Penny was recommended to me by a friend, and I'm incredibly grateful for that introduction. I had consulted several solicitors about how mine and my husband's assets might be divided in our divorce, and Penny stood out immediately. Her advice was not only the clearest, but it also suggested the most favourable financial outcome for me. From the start, I felt that she genuinely understood both the emotional and financial complexities of my sitaution. Thanks to her expertise, we achieved an outcome that exceeded my expectations and aligned closely with what she suggested was possible in our very first meeting. I'm certain that I wouldn't have reached such a positive result had I chosen one of the other solicitors I initially consulted, who seemed less supportive of my case. Penny and her team were efficient, knowledgable, and helpful throughout the process. In particular, Mike did his best to help me when it got to the stage where I could no longer afford legal fees by giving me several funding options to think about and was always there on WhatsApp with advice (and humour!) when needed. The fees were substantial, especially when we had to involve a barrister, and sometimes it was difficult knowing exactly what some of the communication meant and its consequences - so it was a stressful time. Despite this, I felt supported and I was confident that Penny and her team were doing their best for me at all times. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone seeking advice on family matters.
