Director and Head of Family at National Legal Service - alongside management and leadership responsibilities, Kirsty also has an active case load including the representation of high profile clients in domestic abuse cases; dealing with high conflict private children law disputes (including allegations of domestic abuse and counter allegations of parental alienation); urgent and complex domestic abuse cases (offering a trauma informed approach); and public children law proceedings. Kirsty is an Accredited member of the law society's children panel and regularly acts for babies and children through their children's guardians across a variety of care proceedings including inter familial rape and sexual abuse allegations; large sibling groups and concerns of neglect, including parental substance abuse; serious non accidential/inflicted injury and fabricated illness cases; and cases with international elements.
