When I first contacted Birkett & Co I did not know what to expect. I never envisaged that I was going to not only need help through a messy divorce, but also help through a very abusive relationship with police involvement and court hearings including non molestation and MWPA hearings. To have had a solicitor like Cassie who was local to me and who was able to support me through the whole I can never thank her enough. I told Cassie on day one what I wanted out of my divorce and I was able to achieve everything I wanted because of her. This was a very stressful process throughout for me given the details of my marital breakdown and dealing with my ex husbands solicitors did take its toll on me mentally. But I was safe in Cassies hands. She offered outstanding legal support, was professional, had sound legal knowledge but also a solicitor who was very understanding and supportive of my needs making this process easier for me to deal with. She was always available, kept me updated, reached out to help and answered all my queries and concerns timely and respectfully. She made me feel listened too always and helped me providing guidance and support throughout. She was also able to offer and recommend an exceptional barrister who attended court on my behalf following an application under the MWPA by my ex partner. As a result all my goals I wanted were achieved after the court hearing but this would not have been possible without the great work that Cassie had already put into my case. I couldn’t recommend Cassie enough and will be forever grateful I instructed her as my solicitor.

Cassie was recently involved in my divorce case preparing documentation for the purpose of the divorce proceedings. From the beginning, Cassie showed empathy throughout and fully explained the different stages of the divorce procedures providing all necessary information in a clear and concise way. All correspondence was prompt and any further queries I had were answered quickly.
