I couldn't be happier with the service I received from England and Derbyshire. Madeleine and Kate both handled my case with real professionalism, diligence, and attention to detail throughout, and worked brilliantly together as a team. Their patience and attitude were exemplary from start to finish. Whilst divorce litigation is obviously expensive, I felt the firm delivered good value for money. I was also very impressed with the barrister that Madeleine recommended to me. The barrister did a great job, and during the FDR hearing, when the judge initially seemed to be leaning against me, Madeleine, Kate and the barrister worked quickly to turn things around and secure an outcome I felt was fair to all parties. To anybody reading my review, I have been totally overwhelmed by the compassion, understanding and outstanding level of support I received from England & Derbyshire. Truly this is a company of outstanding integrity founded upon good old fashioned family values, and exceptional legal expertise. Throughout a lengthy case, I was privileged to be represented by Madeliene Jones who throughout changing and challenging complexities, maintained outstanding levels of communication, guiding me through each stage presenting me with clear and easy to understand options, recommended courses of actions, and she takes No Nonsense from opposing legal practices, no matter their status. It was also a comfort to know that behind Madeleine she has the support and guidance from Adrian and Anthony, both gifted with a wealth of first-class legal expertise to guide the team where needed. Never at any point was I ever placed under any pressure, emphasis is always placed upon client’s wellbeing, for which the team truly goes the extra mile to always ensure the best outcome for their client. I had a messy divorce from my ex. He was due to retire from the Navy at the time of our divorce. He did not want me to have a share of his pension. He negotiated that I keep our house and contents. I proved he had taken out the majority of the equity of our house but my then solicitor told me that was the deal, end of matter! No negotiation, nothing. I had to struggle for years to put my children through university and any other outgoings without his help. I saw an advert on Facebook and phoned England and Derbyshire. The staff there were so friendly and helpful! They guided me through the legal jargon and joyfully I received a nice little payment! My youngest daughter was getting married at the time so I was able to contribute. Thank you so much England and Derbyshire!
