Kimberley joined Ralph Sayer in April 2025 as Partner and Head of the Private Client department. In addition to her role as a solicitor, she is also a Notary Public. Kimberley’s career path has been both unique and impressive. She first studied for a BA in Scottish Music at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland (formerly RSAMD) in Glasgow, specialising in fiddle and bagpipes. She later pursued her passion for law at the University of Strathclyde, before beginning her legal career in her hometown of Wick, working with a sole practitioner in conveyancing. In 2020, Kimberley moved to Edinburgh to specialise in private client services. Her expertise covers Wills, estate planning and inheritance tax planning, Powers of Attorney, executries (estate administration), planning for care home fees, and trusts. “Private client work allows me to spend time with my clients, understand their circumstances, and help them make the best plan for their future. While these conversations can sometimes be sensitive, clients often tell me the relief and peace of mind they feel afterwards — knowing they’ve done the best for themselves and their loved ones.”

    Kimberley recently helped me with a (no will) matter - she was very helpful and explained what would be done and it was. My only reservation about 5 stars is that it was quite expensive for what was done.
