Neglectful Work
Lauren did a very poor job on our case. We had a chain free vacant purchase which was agreed at the End of February. All documents were signed and returned by beginning of march. We did not recieve any significant updates from Lauren until the end of April after months of chasing that the searches were finally requested. Once the searches were back we did not hear any progress from Lauren for weeks. This lead to both me and the estate agents chasing Lauren constantly with no reply. The seller then threatened to pull out of our purchase after almost a month of having the searches back and doing nothing we were assured by Lauren that the enquiries would be raised by the end of the week. The next week when attempting to follow up about this as the estate agents advised the sellers solicitors had still not recieved the enquires, that Lauren was on annual leave for 2 weeks, which took us now until the middle of June. The only saving grace in this matter was Robert Stephens who stepped in following our complaint to deal with the matter and managed to secure completion within less than 2 weeks, something which Lauren could have easily done months ago. Overall, this may be a good firm as all other team members have been helpful but I would advise you to request a new file handler if you receive Lauren as your conveyencer
