Commercial Property
Superb understanding and conclusion of a difficult sale of a property as part of my bother's estate. The team, recommended to us by Amanda Custis, included Zoe Isted and Laura Thompson. They took the
initiative and pressed the buyers sellers in a subtle yet business like way to the conclusion of the sale even gaining a payment for late completion. The sensitivity of the sale was that the property was part residential and part commercial, the shop section being occupied. The ideal outcome was that the shop tenant buy the whole property and this took a lot of sensitive negotiation. If this sale had fallen through it would have been a difficult property to sell. Thankfully Laura and Zoe were tenacious and pushed not only the sale but also the Probate Office in Newcastle (who were dreadful and holding the sale up!). I know the team and Amanda had great difficulty in contacting the Probate Office but eventually got them to complete the Probate. Excellent work by all the CWJ teams who shared all our ups and downs and frustrations in a very human and professional way. Thank you!

Residential Property/Conveyancing
Laura Thompson and her highly efficient assistant Zoe Isted helped me and my 13 fellow apartment owners to purchase the freehold of Timberley Ct, Sidcup at the height of Covid, with all the difficulties of not being able to meet in person, much of the negotiating done on-line, job/income losses among the owners, Laura working from home etc. We were all tested to the limit, but with Laura at the helm and back-up from Zoe we came through somewhat battered and exhausted having miraculously achieved the seemingly impossible! As the owner who first approached Laura to deal with our purchase I thank her and Zoe in all our names for their help, support and expertise.
