This is the second time I have used Greenwoods. I first used them back in 2020 when I purchased my first house and they were amazing then. I have just used them for a sale and purchase transaction and they have been faultless. They are good at communicating and they happily answer any questions you have. Any jargon that needs clarifying, just ask and they will happily explain what things means. I would definitely use Greenwoods again.

I cannot recommend the conveyancing team at Greenwoods Solicitors in Knaresborough highly enough. Selling and buying a home is notoriously stressful, but our experience was a true test of endurance, spanning from listing our property on 26 December 2024 to finally exchanging contracts on 30 July 2026. Throughout this marathon 19-month process, Dawn and Rebecca were our absolute rocks.Our first attempt at a sale was incredibly frustrating, with the buyer protracting the process for eight exhausting months before it fell through. When we finally secured a second buyer—a cash purchaser with no chain—we expected smooth sailing. Instead, the transaction threw up complex and unexpected Land Registry issues that could have easily derailed the entire deal.Through every single hurdle, Dawn and Rebecca were our constant level heads. They navigated the legal complications with immense professionalism, absolute diligence, and a calm, reassuring manner that kept us sane. Dawn and Rebecca were professional and supportive throughout the sale of my mother’s flat. What began as an urgent need to sell the property to fund my mum’s care turned into a much longer and more difficult journey than any of us anticipated. We experienced the disappointment of a failed sale, my mum’s passing, and then the eventual completion of the sale through probate. I would certainly use Greenwoods again & again. Dawn Hudson & Fran Yannon have enabled the speedy conveyancing of my property, despite Land Registry issues and buyer delays. Excellent communication and experience but the difference to other solicitors I've used is the personal touch.....a true appreciation of the impact of delays on a human level. Dawn was forthcoming on direct communication and aided matters late into the night. Don't think twice if you need a local solicitor.....Greenwoods are Excellent. Thank you to all the team
