Amelia joined Wace Morgan as a solicitor in the Private Client team in November 2022. Amelia qualified as a solicitor in September 2022 having completed her training contract at a busy and well-established firm in Chester. Prior to starting her training contract she obtained a law degree at the University of Chester and went on to obtain a Distinction in her Legal Practice Course and Masters in Law at the University of Law. Amelia started her legal career in 2017 as a paralegal assisting on wills, probate, trusts, lasting powers of attorney, deputyship and conveyancing matters. Therefore, she has over 8 years of experience in working in Private Client assisting on a multitude of simple and complex matters and experience in managing a sizeable caseload which includes wills, lasting powers of attorney, trusts and estate administration. Amelia has attended STEP seminars since she started her legal career and it was always her goal to become STEP qualified. She is now achieving this goal as she is in the process of completing the STEP diploma. Amelia specifically enjoys assisting clients with their wills and feels that she is reassuring people that their estate will pass in accordance with their wishes when they are no longer here. She also enjoys assisting clients with estate administration and finds it rewarding helping people in what can be difficult process at one of the hardest times of their lives. Amelia enjoys embroidery, jigsaws and walking her dog, Penny.
