    Keir joined Wace Morgan in 1998 as a trainee solicitor and qualified as a solicitor in the year 2000. He was made a Partner in 2003. He has specialised in employment since he qualified and has represented clients at Employment Tribunals all over the country.

  • Debby Gittins

    Debby joined Wace Morgan as a Solicitor in 1988 and soon went on to become a Partner with the firm. She specialises in residential property matters including sales, purchases, equity releases, freehold and leasehold properties, deeds of gift and transfers. Debby carried out her legal training with another local firm, and qualified as a Solicitor at Trent University in 1984.

  • Jeremy Taylor

    Jeremy Taylor qualified as a solicitor in October 1985 after obtaining Upper Second LLB Hons at Newcastle on Tyne University in 1983 and professional qualifications at the College of Law, Chester in 1984. Jeremy trained with JCH Bowdler and Son in Shrewsbury and, after a short spell as prosecuting solicitor, joined Wace Morgan in 1987. He became a Partner in 1990. He is dedicated to acting for those clients injured by the wrongful acts of others to obtain justice and fair compensation.

    With 15 years litigation experience Chris has been involved in many substantial and interesting cases ranging in value up to several million pounds. Where necessary Chris has guided clients through the complexities of the Court of Appeal. Chris’ objective is to achieve the best result for his client at the least expense; he has experience of settling cases through alternative dispute resolution including mediation. Before joining Wace Morgan in 2009 Chris was head of the commercial litigation department at a firm in Telford and before that worked as a litigation solicitor for a major practice in East Anglia. Clients comment that Chris is ‘very professional’; gives ‘good advice’ with an ability to ‘handle delicate situations very well with good results’. Chris is a member of the Professional Negligence Lawyers’ Association and is an ADR Group Accredited Civil and Commercial Mediator.   • Diana Packwood

    Diana has been with Wace Morgan for 28 years and has been a Partner for 26 years during which time she has headed up the Conveyancing Department. Diana specialises in all areas of residential property work and was pleased to have led the Department to obtain the Law Society Conveyancing Quality Standard. Her objective in the Conveyancing Department is to make the conveyancing process as easy and accommodating as possible for clients, explaining each step along the way. Clients have commented as follows :- “Diana provided an exceptional service, very diligent, caring and we would recommend her” Diana went to school in Mid Wales and after completing her degree at Kingston upon Thames worked with a firm of solicitors in Newbury in Berkshire in their Matrimonial Department.

    Zara joined the firm in 2001 and was made a partner in 2007. Zara worked as an in-house solicitor for Tarmac in its heavy building materials division before joining Wace Morgan and qualified in 1998. Zara specialises in commercial property and agricultural property work and has a large client following. Zara prides herself on her hard working but friendly and (hopefully!) stress free approach.

  • Rory O'Byrne

    Rory has rejoined Wace Morgan as a Partner having spent the last nine years or so working in Birmingham. Rory is a specialist in all aspects of residential development, and in social housing in particular. He has acted for nine of the top 10 UK house builders, multiple registered providers and local authorities. He has a solid track record for unblocking S106 negotiations, and getting bulk affordable housing sales or purchases “across the line” whether that be to achieve grant funding and or year end deadlines. He acts in respect of all forms of deal structure including strategic land acquisition, off the shelf (turn key) sales, golden brick sales, stock rationalisation, regeneration projects and contractual joint ventures for housing development. In tandem with his “day job” as a development specialist at Wace Morgan, Rory is also an independent Board Director & Vice Chair of Severnside Housing Association Limited in Shrewsbury. Alongside his co-directors he is responsible for and decides upon the strategic direction of this not for profit registered provider of affordable housing. Having cut his commute from 50 miles each way per day to just 1 mile each way Rory is looking forward to using some of that extra time swinging a club on a fairway or two and praying to the God of Golf.

    Robert joined Wace Morgan 3 years ago having previously been a partner at another Shrewsbury firm. Expertise in financial disputes arising out of relationship breakdown, essentially dealing with High net worth professional and commercial clients. He also specialises in Forces pensions issues. He qualified as a solicitor in 1981 after obtaining Law degree at Birmingham University in 1978 and undertaking solicitors qualifying course at Chester College of Law in 1978/9. Trained in Birmingham and then practised in Staffordshire/ North Warwickshire and Birmingham before moving to Shropshire in 2003. Qualified as a family mediator in 1999. Member of the Law Society. Outside interests – football, cricket (now retired but still watch on regular basis), travel, music and good food.

  • Fiona Barnes

    Fiona joined Wace Morgan in September 2012 and specialises in Wills; Inheritance tax and estate planning; Trusts; Lasting Powers of Attorney & Living Wills; and Probate. Following a Commission in the British Army, leaving with the rank of Captain, Fiona undertook her Training Contract in Shrewsbury (with her father at Sprott Stokes & Turnbull) and Weybridge (at Crellins) where she qualified in August 1997. Prior to working at Wace Morgan she also worked for Hatchers in Shrewsbury and mfg in Telford as Partner and Head of Department. Fiona is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly (& Treasurer of the Shropshire Group) and the Law Society Private Client Section and she is on the MENCAP Solicitors Panel. Fiona is married with 2 children at school in Shrewsbury. She is a Trustee of Millingtons Charity (an Almshouse charity in Shrewsbury) and Secretary of the Much Wenlock Fencing Club (where her daughter trains). Fiona enjoys Eton Fives and Tennis, and hopes to get back into Scuba Diving when time permits.

Zoe qualified in 2008 in a top tier Birmingham firm where she gained a vast amount of experience working alongside large commercial developers; private and commercial investors; commercial lenders and pension schemes before joining a niche commercial practice where she continued to work alongside large commercial clients. Zoe has a practical no-nonsense approach to the law, aiming to achieve the best results for her clients as quickly and efficiently as possible. Away from the office Zoe enjoys shopping, socialising with friends and spending time with her young family.

  • Claire Jenkins

    Claire joined Tomleys in 2007 having completed her degree in Law and Business Management at Keele University and commenced her part-time study training contract later that same year. Claire qualified as a Solicitor in 2010 and initially carried out work in a broad range of areas. However, since the formation of Wace Morgan Tomleys in 2012 Claire has moved to become more specialised in Property work, dealing in both residential and commercial sectors acting for clients all over the country. Claire is a member of both Montgomeryshire Young Professionals Group and Powys Networking and in her spare time enjoys Zumba and spending time with friends and family.

  • Andrew Oxenham

    Andrew joined Wace Morgan Solicitors in 2013 after having worked for Lanyon Bowdler Solicitors in Shropshire for 24 years and having worked in Greater London for more than six years prior to that. He gained his law degree at Exeter University and passed his Solicitors’ Final Examination at Chester College of Law. He is a registered Trust and Estates Practitioner (STEP) and is also a member of the Law Society and Solicitors For The Elderly (SFE). His specialist knowledge is in the administration of deceased’s estates and affairs of persons under a disability. He also specialises in the preparation and administration of trusts, Inheritance Tax planning, Wills and Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection Deputyship cases (particularly those involving head injured clients) and various taxation issues associated with these areas. He enjoys assisting more elderly clients in the organisation and management of their affairs and has dealt with several cases involving the handling of estates in excess of £1 million. Andrew was recommended in the 2010 edition of the Legal 500, which commented that “Andrew Oxenham offers up appropriate solutions”. Outside of the office, Andrew particularly enjoys foreign travel and getting out and about in the countryside. His current preoccupation is with hot air ballooning, where he is part of the “Window On The World” hot air balloon team and has participated in numerous national balloon competitions and the British National Championships, culminating with being part of the British Team in the European Championships, held in Spain in 2011.

  • Rachel Wierzbinski

    Rachel joined Wace Morgan in 2014 in the Commercial Property Department having qualified as a solicitor in 2013. She studied law at The University of Wales Aberystwyth and later completed the Legal Practice Course at The College of Law in Chester. Rachel has experience of working with commercial developers as well as private and commercial investors. She regularly deals with leases of commercial property, sales and purchases of continuing businesses as well as commercial and agricultural property whether funded privately or with the benefit of lender funding and pension funds. Rachel also acts for several local residential property developers from acquisition of the site through to the sale of the residential units and everything in between. Rachel is able to meet with clients in both the Shrewsbury and Newtown office as required. In her spare time she enjoys the great outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
