Sam has worked in both Conveyancing and Private Client since 2004 as a paralegal at Purdie & Co in Edinburgh, where she completed her paralegal accreditation. Sam then graduated from the LLB at Napier University in 2017 with distinction and after completing the Diploma in Legal Practice in 2019, Sam undertook her training with Jardine Phillips LLP in Edinburgh where she had worked as a paralegal since 2012. As a Qualified Solicitor, she worked with Jardine Phillips LLP before moving to Jameson + Mackay LLP in Perth as a Solicitor initially. Sam then became an Associate Solicitor at Jameson + Mackay LLP and helped to head up the Private Client Team at Jameson + Mackay LLP, dealing with Wills, Powers of Attorney, Executries and Trusts before joining Morgans in January 2024 as an Associate Solicitor in the Private Client Team and was assumed as a Partner on 1st April 2025. Sam deals with all aspects of Private Client work and is also a Notary Public.

    Morgan's looked after the sale of my parents house, and the settlement of estate and wills. The whole process was handled professionally throughout. Samantha Kennedy dealt with the estate.     Morgan's looked after the sale of my mothers house, and the settlement of estate and wills. The service was brilliant. Excellent communication, and explanation of complex process, with a great deal of sympathy and understanding. The whole process from start to finish was handled so professionally, with no fuss and superb legal advice.
