I had never had the need for a solicitor before, having called 3 firms i then found Barnard and Webb. From the minute Peggy Barnard answered the phone i felt at ease and was happy to allow them to help me. After this the process was quick and everything arranged in good time. Redundancy Settlement Agreement Advice
Advice sought from Barnard & Webb (Peggy Barnard) following notification of redundancy from my executive position (Investment Director) after 9 years service.
B&W provided clear and comprehensive advice on my Employment Law position but also practical/commercial advice on strategy to achieve the best settlement through negotiation, which is the guidance you most require. Advice was also given on the Settlement Agreement and terms varied to reduce the obligations imposed post redundancy.
Peggy is a highly experienced Employment Solicitor, a 'safe pair of hands' at what will always be a challenging time for an employee. I would not hesitate to recommend to others facing redundancy at whatever level.

Great Experience from Start to Finish
I couldn’t recommend Barnard & Webb enough. They were brilliant throughout my case. I had a difficult situation with my employer which I was very uncomfortable with dealing with on my own. Peggy was professional, approachable, really grasped the intricacies of my situation very quickly and provided very reassuring and ultimately helpful and rewarding legal advice. Molly supported seamlessly while covering for holiday. Without their support I would have been somewhat at sea, would not have fully understood my rights and would not have reached the settlement that I did. Would recommend to anyone

Friendly, honest and a pleasure to deal with

Fantastic
Barnard & Webb were recommended to me and they didn't disappoint. My solicitor took away a lot of stress from my situation and looked after me really well. She really put the effort into getting a good outcome for me. I also wasn't keep hanging around waiting at any point, which really helped. I would absolutely use them again.
