After training and qualifying as a solicitor at a large regional firm, Peggy quickly progressed to head the Employment Law & Dispute Resolution Team and is experienced in all aspects of employment law. In 2016 she launched her own boutique employment law firm which grew steadily year on year until 2019, when she joined forces with Jacqueline Webb to form Barnard & Webb Solicitors. Contrary to the stereotypical qualities often associated with lawyers, Peggy is down to earth, approachable and driven by achieving results for her clients.

    Employment settlement

    I worked with Peggy in 2017 on unfair dismissal case and came back to her this time round — really glad I did. Peggy helped me through a difficult settlement negotiation while I was off sick, and honestly made what was a really stressful situation feel manageable. Peggy was patient with all my questions (and I had a lot), explained everything in plain English, and gave me honest advice even when it wasn’t what I wanted to hear. Costs were always clear upfront, no surprises. The negotiation took few days but we got to a settlement, I’m happy with. Highly recommend Peggy.
