In July 2019 I first visited Manley’s Solicitors and spoke to Employment Lawyer, Jennifer Yates. Little did I know that she would be supporting me for almost 6 years in a protracted legal case involving my former employer. From the outset Jennifer quickly grasped the issues I was facing and provided an honest assessment of what I could expect in terms of outcomes. Her legal advice was pretty ‘spot on’ without knowing how the situation would evolve. Despite delays and obfuscation by the Respondent Jennifer remained steadfast and was quick to respond to all the ‘curve balls’ thrown at us; she was highly effective. Furthermore, her choice of legal counsel for the subsequent employment tribunal was well considered as he was very effective when cross examining witnesses, and his attention to detail was second to none. In fact, they were a formidable team and it’s fair to say that the outcome of the Employment Tribunal was not only what I had hoped for, but exceeded expectations! I would highly recommend arranging a meeting with Jennifer in the first instance as she is extremely professional, honest and patient! In fact, all the employees I had contact with at Manleys were kind, courteous and professional throughout.
