In July 2019 I first visited Manley’s Solicitors and spoke to Employment Lawyer, Jennifer Yates. Little did I know that she would be supporting me for almost 6 years in a protracted legal case involving my former employer. From the outset Jennifer quickly grasped the issues I was facing and provided an honest assessment of what I could expect in terms of outcomes.

Her legal advice was pretty ‘spot on’ without knowing how the situation would evolve. Despite delays and obfuscation by the Respondent Jennifer remained steadfast and was quick to respond to all the ‘curve balls’ thrown at us; she was highly effective.

Furthermore, her choice of legal counsel for the subsequent employment tribunal was well considered as he was very effective when cross examining witnesses, and his attention to detail was second to none. In fact, they were a formidable team and it’s fair to say that the outcome of the Employment Tribunal was not only what I had hoped for, but exceeded expectations!

I would highly recommend arranging a meeting with Jennifer in the first instance as she is extremely professional, honest and patient! In fact, all the employees I had contact with at Manleys were kind, courteous and professional throughout.

I have known Mark Mankey for over 3 decades and it is clear to me his values of integrity honesty hard work and genuinely trying to do the best or people has been the standard he has infused into the team. Clearly he has assembled a collection of specialist solicitors that can deal with a whole gamut of problems and difficulties encountered by their clients. Recently I have been working with one of his specialist Jessica Turner and in the same vein as Mark she has handled my case with sensitivity understanding due care and intelligence and reh reward for myself and I believe all Manleys clients is to have the value of attention to detail, care and an appreciation which is born put by the trust I have and from a client based perspective it is a commodity really well earned.

I used Mark for a mediation matter and I highly recommend him. He came to London for an all day session at the CR law firm in December 2022 and stayed till late in the evening till both sides came to an agreement. Good guy, highly recommended.
