Good and Kacy sought more professional advice, as required and as needed, upon my request. I Would, however, have liked to have been informed about the ‘student’ taking notes - ie re my permission, who she was and why, confidentiality re notes student was writing. I asked about all of these issues and was assured that her notes would be typed up and ‘stored’ in my file confidentially. I was discussing some sensitive issues and felt uncomfortable with a ‘trainee’ in the room without my prior consent and would, professionally, and considering the price one pays, have expected to be asked.
