I've never had such a pleasant experience dealing with a solicitor
I was on Further Leave to Remain on a spouse visa when my elderly mother developed Alzheimer’s and needed to come to the UK so I could care for her. As many people know, bringing an elderly dependent to the UK is extremely difficult, and I spoke to several solicitors trying to understand whether there was any realistic path forward. Some told me it was a lost cause and wouldn’t take the case. Others gave advice that didn’t feel right or lawful. I was close to losing hope when I came across Edward. Even before I formally instructed him, he took the time to speak with me more than once to understand the situation and explain the options. His patience, clarity and willingness to discuss the matter before I even appointed him said a lot about his professionalism and genuine care. Edward is incredibly knowledgeable and walked me through every possible scenario. He never made unrealistic promises, but he was honest and clear about what we could try and what our options would be if the Home Office refused the application. The process took a long time, but he kept me informed throughout. When the decision finally came through, my mum’s visa was granted on a Friday late afternoon. What meant a lot to me was that Edward didn’t just forward the email or wait until the next working day; he personally called me to share the good news. I’m extremely grateful for his guidance, patience and expertise. Edward was instrumental in achieving this outcome and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing immigration advice.
