She has supported clients in which allegations of Female Genital Mutilation were made, resulting in their children being removed, but the allegations were ultimately proven unfounded. She has also represented clients with mental health challenges and those with disabilities of various forms, along with clients from all nationalities and cultures. Susan has spent most of her career advocating for clients within London and the South-East. Susan believes and prides herself on knowing that her job is a vocation and she will fight passionately for her clients, and this has in some instances resulting in her returning to court on many occasions within a short period of time to fight an application of the local authority for removal of young children from their mother and succeeding every time. She will personally ensure that she is available to support her clients whenever possible. Her clients describe her as kind, caring and very approachable.
