Sarah joins Couchman Hanson from a firm in Godalming and has many links to the local area. Her caseload deals with all aspects of divorce and financial matters and includes cases with limited assets to high-net-worth cases. She has experience with pensions and how best to split these, particularly public sector pensions and Armed Forces Schemes, having worked in military towns for long periods. Sarah also deals with couples who are not married and are separating and pre-nuptial and cohabitation agreements. Sarah also has a keen interest in children work and helping couples resolve disputes about when each party should see their children and where those children should live. She has considerable experience in dealing with complex children cases, including removal from jurisdiction and change of residence cases and cases with complicating factors, including domestic abuse allegations. Sarah is also able to give advice and represent couples in relation to non-molestation and occupation orders and has worked with domestic abuse charities. Sarah works in a constructive and sympathetic manner to achieve a positive outcome for clients wherever possible and is a member of Resolution. She is a strong advocate of out of court resolution. However, if Court proceedings are needed, she undertakes much of her own advocacy in local Courts in Hampshire, Surrey and Berkshire believing that such continuity for clients can be important and reassuring.

    I had a very positive experience with Sarah Watts. She was calm, clear, and professional throughout, helping me avoid unnecessary conflict and stress.     The highest of recommendations.

    If you are choosing representation, I can’t recommend DPM Legal, and in particular, Sarah Watts highly enough. Sarah works at pace, she is thorough, knowledgeable and compassionate. She is commanding in the Court room and you will feel at ease having her on your side. DPM’s pricing was reasonable and transparent compared to other firms I spoke with.     Child Arrangement - A Fathers Review

    I would highly recommend DPM Legal for any parent that is looking for support and guidance throughout a child arrangement or custody situation. Sarah Watts and Emily Rampton were able to provide a quality service from start to finish, and allayed any fears and reservations I had as a single father, in what was a very stressful and daunting time for me (something I think any parent in a similar situation understands).     Divorce resolution

    One rarely if ever gets divorced and I chose DPM Legal without any recommendation, just a small advertisement in a Surrey magazine. Their efficiency and knowledge was exceptional and in particular Sarah Watts, my solicitor, was outstanding in getting to grips with my circumstances and the whole procedure of a clean resolution with my former wife was conducted fairly and to the agreement and satisfaction of both parties.
