Nice people at a difficult time.
The death of a daughter creates a level of grief that cannot be understood unless you have experienced the same. To come to terms with a death that could have been avoided takes the grief and associated anxiety to another level. We were very fortunate to have had Emma of Lanyon Bowdler to take the NHS to task on our behalf. A very caring, approachable, professional and experienced individual. Emma made this very difficult journey for both me and my wife more bearable. From the bottom of our hearts we cannot thank her enough for her skills whilst navigating this journey.

Great communication.
Lanyon Bowdler handled a medical negligence case on my Mother behalf. We first approached the Hereford office who agreed to take on the case on a no win no fee basis. The process started slowly and the original solicitor was slow to respond and did not appear to be actively progressing the case. She finally left the practice. Our case was transferred to the Shrewsbury office. Emma Farringdon took on the case. There was an immediate improvement in communication and it was obvious from the start that Emma was “on the ball”. Emma pressed the third party to respond and to agree a final settlement.

Excellent Service!
Lanyon Bowdler LLP provided a great service to me and my family regarding a clinical negligence claim after the passing of my brother. Despite the case not being taken forward due to the need for an expert, I believe Emma and her team did all they could to help us out when we needed them. They were able to get the necessary people to the inquest which helped shed light on what occurred during the days leading up to my brother's passing. Throughout the whole process, everyone was very friendly, approachable, and happy to answer any questions I had. We couldn't ask for anything better.

A sensitive approach to
Emma has supported me through the process of making a claim against the NHS with regards to the death of my son. She has kept me up to date and clearly explained my options at every stage. Most importantly Emma has been sensitive, thoughtful and kind in her communications with me, never losing sight of the immense grief that underpins what can be an emotionally draining process.

Potential Negligence Claim
I was so glad that I contacted your law firm and was assigned to Emma. I was not sure how to go about this Potential Negligence Claim or even if I had a case. Emma was so patient and guided me through each step. She achieved a remarkable outcome. I thought the end result would take at least 3 yrs but as it happens it has only been approximately 18 months. 10/10 Emma Thank You!

Happy with your service
