Lucy joined Thomas Flavell & Sons in November 2025 as a Trainee Solicitor (Apprentice) within the Conveyancing team in Leamington. With a strong grounding in conveyancing and a genuine passion for helping people settle into their dream homes, she brings both experience and enthusiasm to every matter she handles. Lucy’s journey into law began early. She completed a Paralegal Apprenticeship in May 2021 after three years of hands-on training, starting at just 16. She then spent several years working full-time as a paralegal before beginning her Solicitor Apprenticeship in 2024, which she is set to complete in February 2027. Along the way, she passed SQE1 on her first attempt in September 2025 - an achievement she’s especially proud of. Her main area of expertise is conveyancing, and she has already taken the lead on a range of matters, including completing an adverse possession application. Lucy’s approach is rooted in clarity, care, and making what can often feel like a daunting process far more manageable for her clients. Outside the office, Lucy brings the same level of dedication to the ice rink. She attends figure skating lessons and practises weekly, and she never misses an opportunity to hit the slopes - heading off skiing at least once a year. Lucy's supervisor is Sarah Workman, Senior Associate Manager.

    Honestly - One of the best house move experiences I have ever had.

    So, for context this is the 3rd house move I have had. First one happened during covid and took an extremely long time. 2nd move, I had to change solicitors, so coming into my 3rd house move. I had concerns. However, Lucy took on our case and from start to finish, Lucy was always actioning and updating us before we even had any questions. She always ensured that if we were confused by anything, she'd pick up the phone or was available to take our calls, adding that little bit of personal touch whilst maintain a extremely high level of professionalism. I would for sure recommend Lucy's services again and would use them again.

    Excellent conveyancing service

    I found Lucy and the paralegal team of Victoria and Claire professional and excellent to work with during the sale of my flat. Their communication throughout the process was exemplary. It was proactive, efficient and informative, and I was kept up to date at all stages. This was much better than my experience with other solicitors when I've sold properties over the years. I no longer live in the same area as my flat, but I was able to sign documents remotely using their digital tools which made life much easier. One point I should mention is that there appeared to be a bug in the signing app (not specifically a Thomas Flavell product) that prevented me receiving an SMS on my non-UK phone number. Lucy however found a workaround and no time was lost. In summary, I recommend Lucy and Thomas Flavell & Sons
