Lisa is a Solicitor and Civil Mediation Council Registered Mediator in both Civil & Commercial Disputes and in Workplace & Employment disputes.
She has practiced as a solicitor for over 29 years, qualifying in 1993.
Her expertise is in employment law, litigation and dispute resolution,. Much of this experience was gained during her employment within Dorset County Council (now Dorset Council) as its Senior Litigation Solicitor - Employment and Litigation. She has acted for large public sector employers including the Dorset Fire Authority, Combined Dorset and Wiltshire Fire Authority (as its Deputy Monitoring Officer and Deputy Clerk), the Chief Constable of Dorset, the Dorset Probation Trust, (as its Legal Adviser - Board Secretary) the Waste Regulation Authority (now Environment Agency). She has also advised local authority management companies, large companies, smaller businesses and individuals.
Lisa has a wealth of experience having conducted complex litigation within most courts and tribunals including within Employment Tribunals and the Valuation Tribunal. Lisa's breadth of experience and expertise allows her to quickly understand the issues in dispute, her clients position, needs, and then to advise.
Lisa is caring, empathetic and compassionate. She has been described as being "subtly persuasive" in her ability to negotiate most favourable outcomes for clients during negotiations.
Lisa is a strong advocate of the mediation process as she fully appreciates the considerable advantages that mediation offers in comparison with litigation.

Outstanding service from start to finish
My wife and I briefed Pharaoh Law to update our wills. Whereas many law firms would have treated this as a matter of routine process, we received a level of care and attention that exceeded our expectations. Lisa Pharaoh took the brief, made sure that we had thought carefully about the options available to us and answered all our questions. Sharon Edelstyn produced clear drafts of the wills that reflected our wishes exactly. Richard and Molly handled the administration with speed and courtesy. There was a slight hitch in producing electronic copies which required the original wills to be returned. The problem was sorted out within 24 hours and Lisa brought the wills back to our house in person.
Over the years, we have dealt with a variety of law firms. Many of them have been slow, putting their own convenience first, or creating the impression that our affairs were less important than others. It is a refreshing change to deal with such an outstanding company.

If I could give above the five stars I would.
A solid 10 from me.
Lisa is like you and me, well me anyway. A real person who understands peoples problems without prejudice and judgement.
If you have any work / employment related problems this is the girl to sort you out. Just be honest.
For any others out there, and there are probably a few, just make sure you remunerate her and don't muck about for her invaluable and honest work.Shes earned it.

Pharoah Law solicitors go that extra mile and care about your case

Efficient friendly service
I recently contacted Lisa Pharaoh after she was recommended to us by a friend. I was able to get through to Liza on my first call and discussed the problem we had with a will dispute. After a short discussion we arranged a meeting for a few days later. Luckily the will dispute was sorted before the meeting happened. I found that my contact with Lisa and others at Pharaoh Law was very friendly and efficient. If I ever have any other similar problem I will certainly be going back to Pharaoh Law.
